Mumbai is filled with streets full of colorful events. The Lil Flea is one of them. I happened to visit this Flea in the month of December last year. It was amazingly filled with happy crowd, all were busy eating scrumptious food, shopping from young talented designers of India, listening to orchestra or simply watching open air movies. People here were so free spirited and in themselves, that they hardly gave a glance on you for judging your attire or simply your hairstyle. It felt so free that I was able to be myself in this crowd full of fresh overwhelming air. As I heard about this flea from a friend earlier, that everyone here is on their own and dress differently, I tried wearing my kalamkari hand painted saree blouse with a denim pinafore dress and accessorized them with a beautiful handcrafted ring, pearl jhumkas, a pair of rajasthani pure leather juties ( mojaris ) along with rabari embroidered bag to set a fusion yet trendy look at the same time. It was a free place with no judgements, which attracted me the most. Sharing few pictures of mine in this free spirited crowd.
P.S. – Don’t forget to visit The Lil Flea this time in Mumbai from 6th to 8th April,2018 & 13th to 15th April, 2018 at Jio Garden,BKC 🙂
