Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh! What fun it is to ride
in a one-horse open sleigh.

We can smell Christmas celebrations and hear Christmas carols in every nook and corner of streets and town. Be it shopping malls, which are filled with Christmas decorative and shops, stocked up with Christmas presents and sweets or children sleeping at night, waiting for their Christmas present next morning as soon as they wake up, this festival comes up with its unique flavour.

I have been celebrating Christmas since childhood, as I love decorating Christmas tree with self made decorative items, and of course love dressing up for Christmas-eve party, where I shop and style my look, every year.

As we all know, Christmas is celebrated in the month of December, when the cold weather is at its peak. With that in mind, I have shortlisted and styled my Christmas outfit, wherein I don’t have to compromise either on style or comfort.

Layering is very much in trend this season, so I decided to experiment with two outfits, i.e. an evening gown in red which I layered with a shirt dress in black checks from Shoulder Lab, with a beautiful crochet work on and around the pocket.

I have teamed up these two because it is going well with the color theme of Christmas, i.e. red and white, and also because layering helps in keeping me warm in cool winter breeze. As well my shirt dress is giving me a classic and sober look with well buttoned mandarin collar. What more could I ask for.

I am keeping it simple, with minimal accessories, as layering did it all, otherwise it would turn out to be a mess. So  I picked two hand painted finger rings from the house of MIRANIKA, which is my  favourite of all time, and teamed my entire look with canvas shoes in white, with black laces,  from Alcott, to add little comfort to my feet, and BTW white canvas shoes go almost with everything, so having them in your wardrobe is a blessing 😛

Last but not the least, I am keeping my bangs open, adored with some red roses, for that feminine feel and let some cool breeze pass through my hair on Christmas-eve party, as I open the door to welcome my friends and relatives home.

Vola !!! I am ready !!! Hope you like my Christmas look 🙂
