Monsoon is here, and so is the reason to find ways to look good and comfortable at the same time.
Rain comes with loads of pros and cons, which is why it is important to dress right, when you step out of your shell.
You can mix two garments to create that drama in your look without going overboard. That’s called layering my friends.
Layering can give a new life to your same old clothes. At the same time, it gives you warmth from the cool monsoon weather.
The important thing is to layer it right.
You can mix solid colors with prints, or two different prints together but the focus should be on color story .
Contrast or combine in the right way. Don’t accesorize much, as layering itself will change a lot in your looks.
Keep it simple!!!
Here, I have combined my nautical slit dress with an acid wash denim shirt dress for a comfortable yet stylish outgoing look. The effect of the acid wash gives a cloud like effect going very well with the monsoon theme.
Footwear should be easy and comfortable to hop in, so I opted for a pair of sneakers from Alcott. I accessorized a ‘little’ by wearing a single earring, long enough to let my hair down 😉
I chose to put on my new geeky specs, but you can put on your shades as well.
I am wearing:-
Shirt dress from People by Aditya Birla Group
Slit dress from a local street market of Lokhandwala in Mumbai(India)
Shoes from Alcott
